1. Product Description:
JOM6811 is a two-component iron, clay-like, universal repair agent for the repair and regeneration of cast iron parts. It is wear-resistant, has high bonding strength with metal, and can maintain the color of the repaired substrate. It does not shrink after curing.
2. Typical uses:
Mainly used for repair of iron casting pores, sand holes and cracks. Especially can be used for repair of precision machining mating surfaces and size beyond tolerance. After curing, it can be machined.

5. Solidification characteristics:
JOM6811 is a two-component cast iron repair agent. The minimum curing time is 8 hours for operation (no load, no soaking). It needs to be cured for 12 hours before machining or light-load operation. It needs to be cured for 24 hours before full-load or hot-load operation.
6. Usage:
l Surface treatment: the surface to be repaired is polished by sandblasting, electric grinding wheel, steel brush or coarse sandpaper to improve the roughness of the repair surface, and then cleaned with acetone cleaning agent. The repair surface must be clean, water-free and oil-free.
l Composite patch: The patch is composed of two components A and B. When used, the A component and B component are fully mixed according to the specified proportion, and the A component and B component are mixed in a mass ratio of A:B=7:1 or a volume ratio of
to reduce waste.
l A:B=3.5: 1. It should be used up within the specified operating time limit. If the prepared glue is not used up in one time, the remaining glue can not be used again. It is recommended to use and mix it as soon as possible
Application: Apply the prepared repair adhesive to the surface using a spatula or blade. Start with a small amount and press repeatedly to ensure thorough penetration into the substrate. Leave sufficient residue for processing before applying the remaining material. Alternatively, use a molding technique to apply the mixed adhesive directly onto the surface of the bonded object.
l The curing time at 25ºC is 30 minutes. When the temperature is below 25ºC, the curing time should be appropriately extended. When the temperature of the surface to be repaired is below 15ºC, appropriate heating methods can be used to ensure the curing of the coating. Heating curing can improve the performance of the coating and achieve the most satisfactory curing effect.
l Post-processing After solidification for a certain time, the traditional machining methods such as turning, grinding, drilling and tapping can be used to achieve the required size.
l Technical points of using iron metal patch
The application time and curing time depend on the temperature and mixing amount. The higher the temperature, the faster the curing; the more mixing amount, the faster the curing.
Curing of extended epoxy resin at high temperature: Mix epoxy resin in small batches to prevent rapid curing; cool resin/curing agent.
7. Storage conditions:
l This product should avoid inverted, collision and heavy pressure during transportation and loading and unloading, and prevent sun exposure, rain and high temperature.
l Store in a dry and cool place at 8ºC~28ºC.
